Antivirus
Software that looks for known-bad and obvious malice, then tries to stop and clean it. Necessary. Not sufficient.
Antivirus is built to detect, block, and remove hostile software. Signature catalogues, simple behaviour, and quarantine. It is the floor under EDR, not a substitute for it.
Keep it current, cover the fleet including the jump box, and do not let users disable it 'because an installer said so'. For modern endpoints you want behaviour plus isolate, which is EDR.
