A password is a sequence of characters used for authentication. Complexity rules that ban length and demand a quarterly reset are how you get Summer2026! on a sticky note.
Prefer a long unique secret per service, stored in a password manager, with MFA in front. Default vendor passwords on devices are not secrets. They are invitations.
