Password manager
Generates unique secrets and stores them in a vault. One strong unlock. Not a spreadsheet called passwords_final.
A password manager creates unique, strong, replaceable secrets and keeps them in an encrypted vault, on-device or in a service you have actually vetted.
The unlock (passphrase, MFA, hardware key) is now a crown jewel. Protect it. Do not sync the vault to a shared family iCloud you do not control.
Browser 'save password' with no vault, no MFA, and a reused Gmail login is not this control.
